Extreme heat in BiH prompts call for adjusted working hours and stronger safety measures

SARAJEVO, July 31 (FENA) – Following a new wave of extremely high temperatures affecting Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Employers’ Association in the Federation of BiH, and the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH have called on employers to adjust work organization in line with the Occupational Safety and Health Law in order to protect employees’ health and safety.
