Introduction of ETIAS expected in 2027, BiH Foreign Ministry has not received official launch date

SARAJEVO, October 1 (FENA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not yet received official information on the date when the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will begin operating. Following earlier announcements that the system was expected to become operational in the last quarter of 2026, a specific date is no longer mentioned on the European Commission’s current webpages either.
