Soreca: New technologies can reduce electoral manipulation, but cannot ensure fair elections alone

SARAJEVO, August 31 (FENA) – New electoral technologies, including biometric voter identification and optical ballot scanners, are expected to significantly contribute to protecting the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s electoral process, reducing electoral manipulation and enabling faster publication of results, it was said today in Sarajevo at the “Trust in the Electoral Process: Integrity in a Changing Context” conference.
